Why do ID numbers appear masked with asterisks in visitor profiles?
The system is built adhering to the highest information security and privacy standards; ID and passport numbers are encrypted and displayed masked (e.g., **1234). Viewing full numbers requires the Reveal ID number** permission (visitors.visitors.reveal_id), and each reveal action logs the viewing employee and timestamp in the security audit trail.

Why does "Pass document has expired" appear and prevent contractor entry?
When the expiration date of an insurance policy or occupational safety permit attached to the contractor pass passes, the system automatically revokes gate clearance to safeguard the facility against legal liability and workplace accidents until the document is renewed and an active copy uploaded.
